Insulated lime render

Gwyn and his team re-plastered the outside of our house in insulated lime render. It has really transformed our home. After several frustrating attempts to get the work quoted and being let down, Gwyn kept us informed, started on time and the finished product looks fantastic, he kept me updated throughout and involved me in all decision-making. I was able to let him to just get on with it, his team are trustworthy and pleasant to chat to, we have re-booked them for all of our internal work.

Garden Pizza Oven

Gwyn ltd custom built a stand alone pizza oven in my garden, this was a lengthy time consuming project which required a lot of staged work, each process was done to a high standard and Gwyn was always professional and tidy, the end result was truly a one off pizza oven which will outlast myself!cant recommend him enough.

Breathable Insulation


Last month Gywn and his team Insulated our home with breathable insulation. We had got some quotes for other types of insulation but, we decided to use Gwyn as he was more affordable and offered a better system for our old house. I have to say, we are over the moon with the finish, the attention to detail is fantastic, better still Gwyn and his team left the place tidy, no plaster on the driveway, no mess on the windows, the wife was over the moon. We certainly made the best choice using Gwyn.

Stone Cottage Renovation

Gwyn was great and extremely professional from the very first call! I needed quite a few things done to restore my stone-wall cottage when I first bought it as it was having a lot of damp issues and hadn't been updated in decades. Gwyn did a fantastic and thorough job, especially on the lime plastering which was top-notch! He also sorted out the flooring and added under-floor heating, removed a wall making the living room and kitchen feel way more spacious, and added resin-flooring just outside the cottage after he re-did the concrete as the old stuff was pretty damaged. I will not hesitate to use Gwyn for anything in future.

External work 

Gwyn is always the first choice whenever we need work on our cottage. He has done various jobs for us over the years. He recently was able to hide some external cable and damp-proof a wall by forming stone features out of plaster to match the rest of the wall. Once painted, his work blended in to the rest of the stone wall. He has also plastered our out-building to match the traditional look of the rest of our property. Gwyn is also a good source for info on building-work. He keeps the work area clean and tidy; him and his team are always pleasant and respectful. As a tradesman myself, I can’t recommend him enough.

Replacing garden decking 

Gwyn and his team took up our old garden decking which was rotten and unsafe and replaced it with turf and gravel. The garden is now much safer and tidier, they got the job done promptly and without fuss.

Building Work 

Having recently moved into a new house, we required some building work and have used Gwyn in the past. They sorted out some damp issues, did some internal and external renovation work and have transformed our new home. Helpful, clean and tidy throughout; Gwyn and his team are hard-working, pleasant and friendly. Will no doubt be using them again in future.

Rhostryfan renovation

Excellent work from Gwyn & team. They had done some internal changes to my house in preparation for a new kitchen, including converting two rooms into one, damp-proofing, fireplace restoration and internal insulation.
